My Breatharian Lifestyle ….

“Tea with The Northern Duchess” refers to a health-focused initiative originating in Connecticut and expanding to Florida, specializing in preventative tea. It is associated with Chastity Chyld Incorporated and represents holistic or wellness-oriented brand rather than a traditional, historical, or fictional, tea party.

Welcome to my Breatharian Journey – I will likely revisit the term ‘breatharian’ as time progresses; however, for the moment, I will employ it to provide you with a clearer understanding of my discussion. I urge you to closely examine the image I have attached, as it illustrates the considerable efforts made to portray breatharianism as a highly contentious topic, akin to the reactions we faced when we chose to adopt a vegan lifestyle. Similarly, during our fasting endeavors, we were warned of dire consequences, including the belief that abstaining from food would lead to death and a lack of energy for daily activities. Furthermore, the notion that eliminating meat from our diets would result in a deficiency of essential nutrients was prevalent, as was the idea that if we ceased consuming sugar, we would need to source it from elsewhere. In the case of adopting a vegan diet, concerns were raised about obtaining adequate protein and B-12, leading to a perception of impending nutritional crises. This narrative has been visually represented in the image accompanying this text, which has prompted me to question whether similar misinformation exists regarding breatharian practices. While my journey may not epitomize extreme breatharianism, it is nonetheless my personal experience, and I am committed to sharing it with you. If you are intrigued, I invite you to join me aboard the luxurious bougie black starship – prepare for takeoff!

Greetings, I am known as Northern Star, and I will serve as your host. I hold the position of CEO at Tea with the Northern Duchess. My academic background includes a master’s degree in public health, and I am presently pursuing a doctorate in health science. Among the numerous reasons I find joy in the field of science, the foremost is my experience as my own patient. I have consistently asserted that the first individual I healed was myself, a statement that remains valid. As indicated by the initial remarks in this post, I adhere to a 100% vegan lifestyle, having committed to this choice for over 15 years. I have practiced raw food consumption and consider myself a master of fasting. Additionally, I eliminate sugar from my diet 90% of the time, which provides me with valuable insights into food science and its effects on my body, as well as the impact of fasting on my well-being. This has led me to contemplate the possibility of transitioning to a diet consisting of 90% breatharianism and 10% nuts and seeds.

As we are aware, the food industry is undergoing significant changes. The quality of food has become increasingly contentious, and individuals are realizing that their food choices may not be as healthful as previously believed. I recognized this trend years ago and made the decision to gradually distance myself from conventional food sources, opting instead for a plant-based lifestyle. This choice has allowed me to live without medication and free from health issues, while I have observed younger individuals struggling with high blood pressure and various other ailments. This serves as my testimony, so let us proceed with my journey into breatharianism. Coherent domains can also trap electromagnetic frequencies from the environment to orchestrate and activate specific biochemical reactions through resonance, a mechanism for the most precise regulation of gene function (Ho, 2015).

My official start date is set for February 24, although I initially began on February 21. The official commencement led me to consume a handful of peanuts in their shells and a few pretzels before resting for the night, which I found quite enjoyable. I realized that I did not require much rest. I woke up around 4 AM, feeling energetic, vibrant, and refreshed, and was able to accomplish some work. It is important to note that I have been fasting, and my adherence to a plant-based diet is something I am well-acquainted with. Therefore, it is improbable that someone following a conventional diet would experience the same feelings as I do; however, this is my personal journey, and I am here to share it. A significant aspect of my journey into breatharianism is the realization that water does not solely originate from the external sources we have been led to believe we need. Instead, I recognize that we possess our own internal water reserves. I utilize the water produced by my saliva as my genuine source of hydration, which I consider my living water. I often go without drinking water for a substantial part of the day. Results indicate that BF (Bahá’í fasting) is safe, has no negative effects on hydration, can improve fat metabolism and can cause transient phase shifts of circadian rhythms (Koppold-Liebscher et al., 2021). After having my snack around 7:17, I take a few sips of seltzer water infused with a hint of hibiscus, which is my preferred method of hydration. I allow the hibiscus to steep, and I have consumed my own vitamin C elixir, which I find to be more beneficial than eating commercially produced fruits. Research indicates that the calyces of roselle (hibiscus) are very rich in vitamins and can contain up to 9 times more vitamin C than citrus fruits. This is a separate discussion, but it illustrates how I obtain my fruit intake. Thus, that was my first day.

I intend to enter and insert references wherever necessary, and for my scholars, I trust that this will provide some value as I share my journey. I also acknowledge that I feel fantastic and am prepared for day two. Today is Sunday, February 22, and I am feeling remarkable. I am grateful for the opportunity to navigate this journey and hopefully attract an audience interested in understanding how I manage this process and its overall impact on my lifestyle. I do not consider myself a plant-based individual with an ideal physique. In my view, I carry a significant amount of body fat that has remained. Fortunately, my health is in excellent condition, but I would like to see my thighs slim down. Otherwise, I would describe myself as a size 7 or 6 in pants and a small to medium in tops. However, I still notice the effects of some foods I consumed in my youth lingering on my thighs and perhaps a bit on my arms.

Regarding the emotional aspect of this journey, I find that fasting always brings me clarity. My mind opens up, allowing me to experience my best self, the most refined version of myself. It prompts me to reflect on the significance inner stillness and life sustaining movement and thought. I consider historical contexts and observe how food was sourced, realizing that people did not frequent McDonald’s every 5 to 10 minutes, nor did they have a subway on every corner. Food was sourced differently and was not perpetually available; often, it was seasonal. You would encounter berry bushes or fruit trees, or perhaps a coconut tree, rather than stumbling upon a dead cow on the roadside from which you could slice off a piece and find bread and potatoes to make french fries. This is simply not natural. Consequently, I recognized long ago that I could not subscribe to the false belief system that has been established, which leads people to think that food is the key to sustenance, whereas I believe it is more accurately the key to gluttony.

In conclusion, I would like to emphasize that food is overrated and is constantly thrust upon us. Every time one turns around, there is a promotion encouraging the consumption of various types of food—be it healthy or unhealthy, it seems that anything is acceptable to put in our mouths. However, the practice of fasting and food abstinence is seldom promoted. Society instills a fear of not continuously consuming food, which raises a scientific question for me. Based on my understanding of our societal structure, it appears that there are efforts to keep us unhealthy, as anything detrimental to our health seems to benefit their financial interests. Thus, this is our journey, and I hope you choose to embark on it with me, or at least decide to engage with it in some capacity.
